2 packages of Knorr’s Pasta Sides – Broccoli and Cheddar
2 Cups of milk
Butter
Olive oil
2lbs of Chicken breast/ tenders
A fresh broccoli bouquet
1 package of sharp cheddar cheese
Season blend of choice
9-inch x 13-inch Baking dish/ aluminum pan
Chicken
In olive oil and a tsp of butter, sear seasoned chicken breast on each side for about 4-5 minutes. (Personally, I do about 6 on each side, because I like my chicken a little browner than suggested.) Once browned, dice the majority of the chicken, and leave a few pieces whole to slice for garnish.
Broccoli
Semi- Blanch your broccoli, do not boil it! This will make or break your dish. Simply bring a pot of water to a boil and add a generous pinch of salt. Add the broccoli florets and cook until slightly tender/crisp, whichever you prefer. Cool your broccoli down by either removing it with a splotted spoon/ colander. To add an ice bath to the broccoli is optional, this recipe is simple; just don’t overcook your veggies!
Put it all together!!!
Follow directions on the pasta package precisely. Once finished, combine diced chicken and broccoli with the pasta. Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with cheddar cheese and sliced chicken. Cover with foil and cook on 370 for about 25 mins or until browned to your desire. Serve and Enjoy!
